Interview: TDKR’s Gary Oldman

ArcLight sat down with TDKR’s Gary Oldman to talk about his Oscar-nominated performance in the remake of 1974 British spy thriller Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, where he appeared with Dark Knight Rises co-star Tom Hardy and an all-star cast.  As the first novel of John le Carre’s “Karla Trilogy,” this new film installment that may spawn a new franchise.

Best known to Gotham-watchers as Commissioner Gordon in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Oldman will be seen next in the third and final installment, The Dark Knight Rises, starring Christian Bale (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle/Catwoman), Tom Hardy (Bane), Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, and other Nolan alums Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard, to be released by Warner Bros. July 2012
