Batman: Arkham City Will Have 3D Support, No Need for a 3D TV « The Lazy Geeks

Batman: Arkham City will not only offer 3D support, but 3D support in a few different flavors.

The Xbox and PS3 versions will be playable in stereoscopic 3D on compatible TV’s, using the active-shutter glasses. The PC version will include Nvidia 3D Vision technology to support 3D output on compatible TV’s or monitors. That’s of course if you have a GeForce CPU of course.

If those options don’t suit you then the game will also support regular anaglyph 3D when played on an HDTV with “3D glasses available for the video game.” If you remember, they did the same with Batman: Arkham Asylum.

This is pretty cool for those that enjoy 3D gaming. No matter what you’ll be able to play the game in 3D, unless you don’t have an HDTV that is. I suggest not playing Arkham City on a standard television though, it’s bad for the senses.
