A picture is worth a thousand words, and this week the pictures have taken center stage, particularly those of Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne, Batman) and Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle, Catwoman), on set, off set, in costume, in civvies. and in Anne’s case standing up for the 99% at an Occupy Wallstreet protest. Neither of their top picture is new and the one of Hathaway has been a fixture on the top ten list for obvious reasons. Why both are topping the charts this week, we can’t guess. It is the best picture of Bale as Bruce Wayne we’ve ever seen. In fact, it’s the best picture of anybody as Bruce Wayne.

Anne Hathaway joins Occupy Wallstreet protesters, One of the 1% sure, but can still agree with the 99%
We’re not sure what Anne Hathaway is making to play Selina Kyle/Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, but it places her with Christian Bale’s Bruce Wayne firmly in that top 1%. One of the top 1% who agree with the 99 about the faulty priorities of a government that’s been bought. The 29 year old actress who is reportedly worth $58 million joined the Occupy Wallstreet protestors yesterday carried signs reading “Blackboards not Bullets” and “Blackboards not Bank Accounts.”
She is one of Hollywood’s highest paid actresses and lives a very privileged lifestyle that 99 per cent of people can only dream of.
Still, Anne Hathaway acted as an average Joe and accompanied hundreds of protestors as she joined the Occupy Wall Street demonstration in Manhattan’s Union Square.
The 29-year-old, who is worth a reported $58 million, was pictured marching with protesters and sticking it to the man yesterday in The Big Apple.
Anne, whose films have made approximately a total of $3,202,600,000, tried to blend in with the crowd by wearing a black hooded jacket, grey hat and sunglasses. The Oscars hostess held up a sign in support of the campaign that read: ‘Blackboards not bullets’.
Occupy Wall Street is an ongoing protest that began September 17 2011 in New York City’s Zuccotti Park in the Wall Street financial district. As the day went on Hathaway transformed her appearance from peaceful protestor to more of an anarchist look.
She swapped her original sign for a smaller lighter one that was easier to carry.
The new sign read: ‘Blackboards not bullets’, which was a clear statement in support of students and education.

New Set Photos from The Dark Knight Rises: Christian Bale/Bruce Wayne looking very Wall Street and Joseph Gordon-Levitt looking very much like a cop
New set photos from the location shooting of The Dark Knight Rises, the third and final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Everyone knows Christian Bale is Bruce Wayne. Up until now, there has been only wild speculation about the role Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing, but it seems like we can guess he is playing a policeman. (Maybe. It is Nolan.)

While The Dark Knight Rises is still currently shooting in Los Angeles, the cast and crew may be occupying Wall Street by the end of the month.
In September, we reported The Dark Knight Rises will shift production to New York City on October 29, and a new report indicates that director Christopher Nolan is gearing up to shoot within the Occupy Wall Street protests.
These plans are not quite finalized yet, but an insider reveals that cast members have been told their New York scenes will happen at the protest sites. It appears the actual movement, which has been happening for 30 days, won’t be a part of the storyline, but director Christopher Nolan may use scenes at the rally as the backdrop for an existing plot point.
A Warner Bros. spokesperson confirmed The Dark Knight Rises will be shooting in New York at this month’s end, but wouldn’t elaborate on the Occupy Wall Street aspect of the production.
The casting call, which went out in September, is seeking extras to portray law enforcement or military figures, particularly those with weapons or martial arts training.
The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.
